I have been flipping through this journal of yours and I have to say that it and you are very inspiring. So much that I recently dedicated myself to an art project that will hopefully pull me out of my creative slump. Thank you! :)
Great entry! I felt this way today when I went to try on jeans and there was a three way mirror in the dressing room. Agony! I always avoid seeing myself in profile if I can help it.
Perfectly cute profile, I think. At least you don't have a chin that's *starting* to meld into your neck and eyeballs that bulge out further than your brow bone like ME. I hate that my bottom lip sticks out further than my top, too, if we're going to be picky.
Gorgeous journal idea. I'm familiar with Operation Nice and so it was neat that SU brought me here.
Hi... isn't it interesting that we are our own worst critics? heehee i'm the same way... i notice every, stinkin, little detail about my face (always did). these days, i'm not that concerned about it, but back when i was in my 20's and 30's, i felt a lot of concern.
truth is, others don't nit pick or pick out little imperfections on our faces. they take in the entire picture, and there they see how beautiful we really are!
I have enjoyed your blog! And i agree -- the victorian homes in San Francisco are lovely. I have no idea why i don't paint them more often, considering i live close by!
After returning from the 2009 HOW Design Conference in Austin, TX, I realized that I needed more creativity in my life. So I vowed to create 160 art journal pages by the end of 2009. This blog documents my commitment.
