Just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your journal. You are an amazing draw-er! Since I want to be an amazing draw-er too (not to be confused with a drawer, because who wants to be an inanimate object?) I think I'll start my own art journal. Hm.... :) Thanks for the inspiration!
i love this site, for all your claims of 'can't draw' you are really extremely talented. i actually can't draw and i'm jealous of your motivation and creativity. it's so wonderful that you are creating something concrete when most of us are stuck to the computer for our journaling nowadays (myself included). this has definitely inspired me a little, and although nobody want to see me draw, maybe i'll try keep a paper journal again. i want to 'follow' your blog but there doesn't seem to the option on that page, i guess i'll keep looking? but yeah, you are wonderfully talented! good luck with your 160 pages.
Thanks ladies!! I really recommend it. I've never been able to stick to journaling before in my entire life. But it has quickly become one of my favorite times of day. Sure, there are some days where I know I'm going to be busy and I stress about finding time to sketch, but in the end, it's worth it. Here's to another 146 pages! :)
After returning from the 2009 HOW Design Conference in Austin, TX, I realized that I needed more creativity in my life. So I vowed to create 160 art journal pages by the end of 2009. This blog documents my commitment.
EDIT: This did not happen. I gave up after 43 pages. But I'm on a quest to continue!
